This was my birthday present from my sister and I have only just gotten around to trying it out! She also got me a glass teapot to go with it and I love it 🙂
The tin of teas contains a mix, so first up is the Orange Osmanthus. It’s a green tea and came out nice a light and not too floral, just a hint of orange flower.
It came out looking like a mushroom 🙂
I then popped it into the pot of hot water (not boiling!) and watched it come to life 🙂
A pretty orange flower appeared with the green leaves forming a bouquet in the water. It took a few minutes to infuse into tea, but was pretty to watch and wait.
It came out nice a light and once it had cooled down slightly it made a nice refreshing afternoon tea. I think it would be great iced! The instructions said to pop the flower into cold water and it should last a few days. So it’s now sat on my kitchen windowsill.
I have to admit this felt like a proper adventure in tea!
