I just recently dug this out of my stuff from my moves. I bought this while I was in Seattle as I was finding wandering around the city all day was leaving my feet a bit sore. The lovely lady in store recommended this to use before I went to bed and it was lovely – she did massage my hands in the store to show me how it worked 🙂
On the website it is described as:
“It’s a kind of magic – on tired achy muscles. A warming work out for tired knotted muscles and aching shoulders. Cocoa butter, shea butter, extra virgin coconut oil and organic jojoba oil are the base of this bar and give a lovely glide on the skin. But their main role is to carry and hold onto the skin the lovely blend of warming essential oils. Including cinnamon oil to warm the skin and peppermint to get the blood flowing.”
I have started using it after my running sessions as my calfs get really tight. I have also been using it on my triceps and shoulders after my gym sessions to relax those areas, which benefits my swimming. I love the mixture of cinnamon and peppermint, it remind me of Deep Heat, but it is much nicer to smell. It is very calming and love the feeling of warmth on my skin as the muscles relax and the blood flows. I also love the two different sides. I use the smooth side to get the oils onto my skin, then the side with the beans to massage my muscles. The beans provides the pressure that getting the blood flowing.
I’m glad I found this in my things as I have now added this to my home spa routine 🙂
