So July is almost over and it’s that time again to set my monthly goals for August!
This month I am again following the keep it simple approach with the monthly goals by monitoring them on a weekly basis and focusing on smaller goals, rather than bigger ones.
- Meal Planning and Tracking
- Photo A Day Challenge – posted on Wandering Beyond Angie
- Lose 4 lbs
- Make Time to Stop and Relax
- Stick to My Budget
I suppose these are more aims than goals, as I am setting SMART goals each week to work on one step of each of the above, with the aim of them becoming habits, like my exercise has.
As you can see they are a bit broader this month. I believe that living a healthy life has to cover everything. I have been quite stressed out since dealing with moving out of the flat and buying a house, and have definitely been spending more than I want to in the last few months to help cope with the stress and distract myself. So I have set myself a budget and I want to stick to it. I have also realised how important it is for me to take time out and stop for a day or two. July was so hectic that I stressed out about the whole month and really the month before that. I did enjoy everything, but I wasn’t as relaxed as I would have liked, so this month I am also making time to stop and just do what I want to do at least once a week.
All these things help me lead a healthy life 🙂
There is no Lifestyle course this week, but its back next week so I’ll let you know what I learn then!
Plus I’ll update on specifically how I did with my July Goals on the 1st 🙂
