Today was fantastic! My friend Ingrid and I went to the Warner Bros Studio Tour for The Making of Harry Potter!
It was so much fun and I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who is going to be going, but I also wanted to share some of my favourite bits 🙂
I took about 150 photos as there was so much to see!
We both got the digital guide and I would totally recommend getting this is you are a super fan. It was an iPod with audio and video clips to work through as you went around the tour. There were bits that are on the DVD extras, but there is also a lot more things especially put together from the tour. It was so nice to hear the thoughts of the cast and crew as we went round.
There is also an extra part called the green screen experience which you have to queue for separately, but its totally worth it! You get to pretend you are in the Weasleys car and a go on a broom 🙂
Then there is the shop! This is the most amazing shop I have ever been in. It was completely Harry Potter related and contains everything you could imagine and more!
It was so hard not to want to buy everything. They had all the wands. They had replicas of the key props. They has brooms and owls! We spent about an hour at the end of the tour in the shop!
I treated myself to a few things 🙂
I loved every minute of my time at the tour and also our pre-tour movie-thon and chats in the car driving to and from the tour. It was exactly what I needed to distract myself from all the stuff that has been going on and that has been bringing me down for the last couple of months. It was so nice to have a carefree day laughing and using my imagination and being entranced by a magical world 🙂
