April Training Schedule

April and May will be all about training for the open water swims starting in at the end of May!

I have put together a training schedule for April. I don’t want to do it for too far in advance as there more chance I will not do it. I know what is coming up in April and how much money I have to do extra things, so it is okay to plan for the entire month.

I have started form this week, but as I am away for 3 days it is not a proper start to my schedule, more like an introduction week.

So here it is 🙂

Now I have moved I am going to start cycling to work on days when I don’t have to carry any other sports kit. These are technically my rest days, although to begin with I know it will be hard work and therefore I have included them in the table. I think it is important to include all my activity, even though I want cycling work to become the norm.

I’m going to be flexible as I know things will come up that I can do nothing about. I am going to work hard to follow my schedule and I want to have valid reasons for missing something out. I also know I need sleep and therefore need to start going to be earlier and start unwinding earlier than that.

Its going to be hard and I want to apologise to my friends now for being super tried and busy 😉
