It is cold in Whistler!
I was in need of a nice hot meal and so headed to the Old Spaghetti Factory for some indulgence.
I had been to the restaurant on previous visits to Canada, but I have forgotten all they include with the main course.
You bread, a salad, ice cream and coffee just by ordering a main course. It makes it quite good value for money. Although being in Whistler everywhere is fairly expensive.
I started with the bread and garlic butter – so good I could have eaten the whole loaf!
I then treated myself to a peach sangria as it was the daily drink special.
I then went for the Manicotti, which was pasta stuffed with spinach and ricotta and covered in tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. It came piping hot, which was fantastic.
Most people were out on the slopes so Whistler Village was lovely and quiet, which makes eating a restaurant easier for me on my own.
The waitress I had was also really nice. She was from the UK, as was the guy who did my ski fitting and the guy who helped me chose good thermal base layers for skiing!
